Our Health Promotion and Prevention programs focus on keeping people Healthy. The purpose of our promotion and preventive measures is to engage and empower individuals and communities to choose healthy lifestyle behaviors to reduce the risk of developing Non- Communicable Diseases (NCDs) and other morbidities.
We help corporates to derive employee wellness frameworks and implement wellness activities.
Our Healthy Growth Program comprises Growth Monitoring of under-five in pre-schools to determine their nutritional status and Vitamin A supplementation (VAS).
Adolescent Nutrition Education:
We educate young women and men in the age category of 13-18 years on healthy eating habits to ensure the adequacy of key nutrients: calcium, iron, and vitamin A, C, and D in their diet. They are also informed on healthy food preparation and encouraged to participate in meal planning and grocery shopping.
Maternal, Infant and Young Child Nutrition:
Mothers are given comprehensive support on complementary feeding and also taught on best dietary approaches in enhancing exclusive breastfeeding soon after delivery.
Nutrition in Disability:
Special Support is given to individuals with Physical or Mental Disorders in meeting their Nutritional and Dietary Needs. Some of the groups we deal with include Autism Spectrum, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy and Down Syndrome.
